Luna-25 ("Moon-25") is the first Russian lunar mission and lunar probe of the same name to explore the south pole of the moon. The mission is carried out by the space company NPO SA Lavochkin and is scheduled to start from 2021. The mission is the continuation of Luna-24, which was carried out in 1976 during the Soviet Union times and was the last Soviet Union space exploration mission to date. The upcoming mission aims to provide new insights into the moon, the earth and the origin of the universe. After the unmanned probe has landed on the moon, comprehensive analyzes of the ice and the pole surface will be carried out.

Sturmanskie watches have always been known for their relation to space and exploration. The revival of the Luna mission is a major concern of Russian space exploration. The new Luna-25 series is dedicated to this step and the future of space exploration. A modern, sporty design of the watches is aimed at the future, which will affect us all. Nevertheless, many inspirations from the Soviet space era from the 60s/70s have also flowed into the design. The coloring is based on the dark-colored depths of space, but also the illuminated elements (stars) that can be seen in the sky every night.
